Talk with EvictIQ about your Georgia eviction case
How long does an eviction take in Georgia?

It depends on the county, the court's calendar, and whether the tenant answers or contests. 72-hour service of tenant after filing on average; everything after that is set by the court and the executing office. We give you a realistic range for your specific county at case review, and we do not guarantee dates we don't control.

Are you a law firm?

No. EvictIQ is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. We handle filing preparation, court coordination, process serving, and field work including setouts. If your case needs a lawyer, we'll tell you, and we work alongside your counsel.

What does it cost?

It depends on the county, the service scope, and your volume. Every case gets a written price before anything is filed. Portfolio owners get volume pricing set against actual monthly count.

Which counties do you serve?

Metro Atlanta and surrounding counties including Fulton, Gwinnett, DeKalb, Cobb, Clayton, Henry, Cherokee and Hall. If your property is outside that list, ask — coverage expands.

Can you handle multiple properties at once?

Yes. Bulk intake is how most of our property manager and institutional volume comes in. You send the delinquency list; we return a queue with status visible across every county.

What happens after I submit a case?

A coordinator reviews the property and case details, usually the same business day, and comes back with written scope and price. Nothing is filed until you approve it.

Do you handle the setout, or just the filing?

Both. Filing, service, hearing coordination, writ application, and the setout itself — crew, off-duty officer, locksmith and cleanout scheduled into one window.

What if the tenant is avoiding service?

It's common. Our field servers work metro Atlanta daily rather than on a route schedule, and every case carries an attempt log with time, date and location. When a tenant is actively evading, we escalate rather than keep repeating the same attempt.

EvictIQ is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. We provide eviction filing, coordination, and field services. Timelines described are typical operational ranges, not guarantees — court schedules and county procedures vary and are outside our control.
